Tiffany is the Writer-Editor in the Marketing and Communications department at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM). She is responsible for writing and editing all materials for current medical students, faculty, staff, alumni and various internal clients. Prior to working at the medical school, Tiffany worked as a reporter and Sunday editor for a newspaper in Somerset, Pa., where she covered a variety of news including school board meetings, municipal meetings, political campaigns, local theater and features.
Tiffany grew up as an Army child and thus began her constant yearning to travel. She began her K-12 education in Germany and finished it in Japan (racking up a total of seven different schools during that time). She has always claimed the Pittsburgh area as her home and is a fanatic about the professional sports teams there. She cherishes the time when she can spend time with her family and dogs, cook meals with her boyfriend and go on vacation. The self-proclaimed “city girl” is trying to push the barrier on her love-hate relationship with being “outdoorsy,” by managing to explore outside more than she used to.
Tiffany has a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University in journalism and is pursuing an online master’s degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) from West Virginia University.
